Notification of authorisation of NMS Solicitors to practice as a Limited Liability Partnership
We are delighted to announce that as and from the 16th of April 2021 NMS Solicitors has been authorised by the Legal Services Regulatory authority to operate and is now operating as a Limited Liability Partnership, NMS Solicitors LLP.
The firm is still a partnership under the Partnership Act 1890 (to the extent that it is not inconsistent with the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015).
The LLP will now be liable for any debt, liability or obligation of the firm. The individual partners in the firm have no personal liability for any debts, liabilities or obligations which are incurred by the firm or any partner or any of its employees, except where there is fraud or dishonesty or a finding of misconduct or a criminal conviction.
This does not prevent or restrict the enforcement of any debt, liability or obligation against the property of the LLP.
This notice is issued pursuant to section 125 (7) of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 and paragraph 5 of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 (Limited Liability Partnerships) (section 130) Regulations 2019 and for the purpose of informing you of the change of the firms status to a Limited Liability Partnership.
