Niall Murphy & Co have recently secured Judgments of € 3.5 m and € 1.1 for a large retailer in Commercial Court actions
Personal Injury -
Jan 2011 -Client sustained soft tissue injury to neck and back. Settlement of €27,000 plus costs approved by Cork Circuit Court.
March 2011 Cork High Court Niall Murphy & Co secured settlement of €55,000 plus costs for client for personal injuries arising out of a road traffic accident .
6th April 2011 - Client sustained soft tissue injury to neck and lower back plus loss of earnings following car accident in November 2009. Matter settled for €30,000 plus costs after PIAB award of €23,000 rejected.
7th April 2011 - Client sustained neck, chest and low back pain in rear ending in June 2009. PIAb award of €33,000 accepted.
8th April 2011 – Road Traffic -Niall Murphy & Co secured Decree, Costs & Witness Expenses for Plaintiff following road traffic collision in Cork City. The Defendant Insured having initially agreed to pay for damage subsequently denied liability.
5th May 2011 - Road Traffic Accident. Client sustained neck and shoulder injuries in Accident in March 2011. Niall Murphy & Co successfully secured settlement of €12,000 plus costs from Defendant's Insurer within two months of accident.
Property Damage
3rd June 2011. Successfully negotiated substantial settlement with Client Insurer arising out of water damage to property.
24th June 2011. Personal Injury. Insurance Defence.
Niall Murphy & Co successfully defended on behalf of a major Insurer a number of personal injury cases being brought by two individuals on the basis that they were not in the vehicles at time of impact. The Court accepted the evidence presented by this firm and struck out the claims .
5th August 2011
Niall Murphy & Co secured a settlement of €20,000 and costs arising out of Personal Injuries sustained in a Road Traffic Accident in March 2011.
4th September 2011
Plaintiff pedestrian sustained serious personal injuries and multiple fractures when struck by vehicle. After detailed negotiations Niall Murphy & Co secured settlement in excess of €100,000 plus costs.
